How Perkie Moments works

A Perkie Moment is a bookable quieter time at a local business, with a special member deal on that slot. Spots per slot are limited. Not snooty. Just nice to be in the know.

All sorts. Restaurants, cafes, bars, wellness spots, experiences, services, whatever is good in your area. Perkie Moments is not just about food. The discount varies by venue and offer, so check each listing.

Booking a Moment requires Perkie Points (currently 500 points per booking) plus a small booking fee, unless the listing says otherwise. Current standard booking fee tiers are:

• 1 to 2 people: $4
• 3 to 4 people: $8
• 5 to 6 people: $10

The listing in front of you is the one that counts. The fee confirms your spot.

Yes. Booking fees can vary by industry and by the type of Moment on offer. What you see on a listing today is what applies to that booking.

Some Moments on premium business listings may not include a booking fee at all. When that applies, we show it clearly before you confirm.

How Perkie Points work

Browse available Moments, pick a time slot, choose how many people, and confirm. You get a confirmation with a QR code for the venue to scan on the day.

Yes. Each listing shows the minimum and maximum party size. If a slot only opens for 3 or more, you will only see options from 3 upward.

Show the QR code from your booking. The venue scans it to confirm your Moment. After your visit, the venue marks it complete and any Perkie Points for eligible spend can be added.

After completing a Moment and leaving a review, you can spin the prize wheel. Prizes can include Perkie Points, a surprise from the business, and occasional bigger treats. Spinning is free.

Reviews are optional in the sense that nobody will chase you. You will not get access to the prize spin wheel without one.

Yes, as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before your Moment. Cancel inside that window and the booking is forfeited. Cancel in time and you receive Moment Credit equal to your booking fee, which can be used toward your next Moment.

The booking is marked as a no-show. The venue loses that spot, you lose the booking fee, and the Perkie Points used to book are not returned. So, just show up.

There are no strict platform limits. Venues control how many Moments they release and when. If a spot is available and you have the points, you can book.

Moment Credit is a balance you can build through eligible cancellations or promotional credits. It can cover or reduce the booking fee on a later Moment.

Some venues set a spend reward: if you hit a certain total during your Moment, you may get a special offer for a later visit. You will be told if that happens. It depends on the venue, it is not automatic everywhere.

The deal each venue offers is specific to their Moment. Some discounts apply to everything, others only to food or particular items. Check the listing before you book. Food-only limits apply where that listing says so, they are not a universal Moments rule.

Venues can see your first name and party size when you check in. That is it. No payment details, no email address, no life story.
