Perkie Pop

A deal for right now.

A business puts a Pop up when they want people in today. You claim a spot, then use it in the window they set.

When the spots are gone, or the window closes, that is it.

For members

Live Pops show on Discover and on the business profile. Claim one while there are spots left. It then sits with your claimed offers until you are at the counter.

Show your Perkie Card in the window and the business redeems it there. You pay them as usual. Perkie does not take the payment.

If you claim a Pop and do not use it, that spot stays taken. Only claim one you will actually use.

For the business

Pop is included with the free listing. You choose the deal, how many people can claim it, and the window they have to redeem it. It can go live straight away.

It is for the quiet patch, the cancellation, the thing you would rather move today. It applies to the location you are signed into, one at a time.

At the till, scan the member's Perkie Card, or open their code in the browser or the Perkie Business app, then enter your venue PIN. You can type the bill amount if you want the discount worked out for you.

Claim it, then use it

  1. 1. The business publishes the Pop

They set the discount, the number of claims, and when it can be redeemed. Until closing means 9pm New Zealand time, unless they pick their own end.

  2. 2. A member claims a spot

Once the claim limit is reached, nobody else can claim it, even if some people never show up.

  3. 3. They redeem it in the window

The deal only applies between the start and end the business chose. Turning up early or late does not count.

  4. 4. Unused claims get logged

If the window ends and the claim was not redeemed, we mark it unused. It still used one of the spots.

Offers are the ones that stay up. Moments are quieter times you book ahead. Pop is the short one: up for a little while, then done. The usual alcohol rules still apply, so a drinks discount stops at 25% and alcohol is never free.
